Ria Totzer, tour merchandise designer for Ziggy Alberts

For my master’s program, we were tasked with interviewing a graphic designer of our choice and creating a booklet that visually depicted that conversation. During my first few weeks living in New York City, I happened to meet Ria Totzer, who was then the graphic designer for singer-songwriter Ziggy Alberts during his world tour. Ria was responsible for designing the tour’s merchandise, creating pieces that not only complemented Alberts’ aesthetic but also captured the spirit of his music and global audience. This booklet documents our interview, offering an inside look at the tour, Ria’s creative process, and the thoughtful approach behind developing merchandise that authentically reflects an artist’s vision.
